As the storm bears down on the Gulf Coast uneasy feelings from the Wabi-Sabi wives encourage the men to move further inland to a higher degree of safety. We start looking for hotels in Hattiesburg, which most are sold out.
Melissa then remembers that she has some family that live in Mississippi and she calls them. He lives in Raleigh Mississippi which is about 150 miles (est.) inland. They should be safe there. They will be leaving to head up there shortly. They are still in Lakeshore now where they have all taken showers and had a little opportunity to rest. Everyone is doing relatively well. Randy is running on Advil. Tony is having a little discomfort in his back but is hanging in there. Bob, Teddy and Hugh are doing well. Pray now that they will have a safe drive up to Raleigh and that they will not get caught in traffic or come up short on gas. God has provided everything they need so far and He will continue to do so. They will get some rest and be ready to head back down as soon as they open the roads back up to southbound traffic. They will go back, survey the damage and begin setting up the relief effort and also repair the truck they had to leave behind because of a broken spring. Our prayers are the most important thing right now. Brothers and sisters praying in unity can change things. Thank you all for your continued prayer.
