Talked with Randy a little while ago. It has been the longest day not being able to talk to him. He said they had been resting today and watching it rain. the people they are staying with is treating them very well he said. They are anxious to get back on the move. They will be resting tonight and they are planning on leaving back toward the gulf at 7:00AM. Pray for the way to be clear for them to get back and assess the damage and let us know what they need. It has been hard for them just to sit today but it is a good thing they will get some rest before the real work begins again.
Randy said to thank everyone for their prayers and calls. Pray for our other team members who will be leaving in the next few days to join them in the effort. They will assess the change to the house building when they get back and see the damage on sight. They will be considerable damage and alot of work to be done just setting back up the campus at the church with the kitchen and the bunkhouses and stuff.
When Joshua took Jericho the worshipers went first. Let's spend the next days to worship our awesome God and our spotless Lamb, Jesus Christ our Savior. Let our prayers and our praise go before them. Tonight we can rest and know that joy comes in the morning.
