As you can see they are making progress and the rain is holding. They also reported overcast skies today that helped with the intense heat. The last report I received all are very pleased with how things are going and spirits are high. The addition of the last team members to arrive have really given them a boost.
This is a photo of the little "break area" at the jobsite. As you can see there is still considerable mud but it drying up.you can also see the building materials that have already been delivered.
Here is a photo I received of the new mother and Baby Makenzie. Let us join together in prayer that this family will have a home filled with the love of God and that this child will be blessed by God's Helping Hands and Wabi-Sabi Women. Melissa said that the family's two sons and a neighbor boy have been helping and are very eager to do what they can.

The Wabi-Sabi Women cooked a great meal tonight of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and peas. That made that happy Camper even happier. This experience is really bonding the team and bringing about memories and friendships that will never be forgotten.
Work will cease in the morning for church and a time for praising God for all He has done and is doing in the lives of this family and of the volunteers. Continue to pray for the group and for the weather to be cooperative. Now we are asked to pray for the track of Ike. We will be keeping a weather eye out. Pray for peace in Mississippi and peace in the homes of those of us left behind. May our hearts be filled with the overflowing love of Jesus Christ.
