WABI-SABI WOMEN SHARE THE LOVE!!!

Our Wabi-Sabi Sistahs ROCK!!!
(Left to Right) Ruby Coalson, Melissa Turner and Wilma Vicars
These women are always willing to help wherever needed and are ready to serve at a moments notice. Today they were able to help a local Lakeshore family that had almost finished their house after Katrina and had no received their Certificate of Occupancy so they still had all their belongings in their FEMA trailer when Gustav came by for a visit.
The Wabi-Sabi Girls dressed in the uniform for the day, were able to help this family sort through and salvage and pack up what they could. Melissa said it is so sad to see these people have to go through this again but they are keeping the faith that better days are ahead. We know the girls were able to be a blessing to them as they are to those of us who know them well. Here is a photo of the home.

Dear Lord, We pray for this family and the struggle they are enduring. We pray that they will be touched by the love of strangers and share that love with others they meet. Bless this home and let faith grow strong and stand firm there. In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ Amen

Our last group for this week are on the way down now and should arrive in the wee hours of the morning. Sadly circumstances have come up that will not allow me to make the trip so I am trying to stay involved and do what I can from here. I so miss my sisters and friends but I know that I am not there for a good reason and God will use me here while they are gone. All the girls are not there so this week I am going to spend some time with and minister to some girls up here I may have neglected.

Also the Wabi-Sabi Women are beginning planning and work on a group for girls 16-21, to study, serve and have lots of fun together. We as women want to share our experiences and wisdom gained with the younger girls and also share some of the old traditions that have been lost. Be in prayer that whatever resources we need will be provided and doors will be opened.

Haven't got an update from the men on their progress yet today so for right now, WABI-SABI WOMEN ROCK!!!!!!
