Holiday Visit to the Janie Hammit Home
On December 7, 2008, the Wabi-Sabi girls and members of God's Helping Hands joined with Under His Shadow Motorcycle Ministries to visit the Janie Hammit Home in Bristol VA. for a holiday pizza party. The Janie Hammit Home serves troubled teen girls. It is a group home that serves up to 14 girls. UHSMM goes to the home annually to encourage and minister to the girls there. It is a blessing to everyone who participates.
Eddie Heath and JJ Camper get comfortable and make themselves at home.
The residents and ministry members enjoy talking and getting to know each other.
The Wabi-Sabi girls had a great time. So much so we are planning on going down to work with the girls on a regular basis. Offering them bible studies and activities that will encourage them to become prepared for life and grow into godly young women.
Johnny Camper uses Ray Freeman to explain the significance of the Under His Shadow Patch which shows how we live in shadow of what Jesus did for us.
